MA, LPC, NCC, NARM Master Therapist
I would like to welcome you to my psychotherapy practice. For over 35 years, I have been providing counseling to adolescents, adults, and families, helping them to successfully resolve personal distress and finding more functional ways to relate in the world. Experience and ongoing commitment to continual training shapes my clinical practice.
I have completed the certificate programs in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a body-oriented approach to working with trauma, and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for working with attachment and developmental trauma. I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Trauma Release Exercise, more body-oriented approaches to working with trauma, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and Post Induction Therapy, another attachment and developmental injury model.
I use these models to help individuals address the underlying dynamics that drive issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I believe that lasting healing and transformation occurs when working collaboratively, we get to the root cause, or source of struggle, examining what is driving the patterns that no longer serve the client. Not just decreasing symptoms that are causing distress.
